Mobility, Strength & conditioning

Exercise and moving is incredibly important when we reach our senior ages. It allows us to stay as independent as possible and enjoy life to the full. Often with age we lose some of our strength and can have a decline in our ability to walk due to balance fatigue and strength.

Evien provides specialist strength training for people above the age of 65 to help them improve and maintain their strength, independence and fitness. We use a range of different exercises which include weights, resistance bands, walking and exercise games to get patients moving. We also devise  plans to get patients walking further whether that’s a few metres or miles! 

The sessions are tailored  to the patient based on their current abilities, disabilities, mobility and confidence. This is a great service for people that struggle to get out or want more from their lives but their physical status is holding them back.
